Ongoing DEI Efforts and Initiatives
The DEI Steering Committee is composed of DNC staff who help to inform the DNC’s DEI work through their input and engagement. The Steering Committee also provides visibility into the structure of our DEI work.
The Steering Committee’s Heritage Month and Staff Recognition Working Group develops internal programming to acknowledge and celebrate the rich diversity of DNC staff.
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary and staff led groups that provide space for staff to connect through a common interest, affinity, or issue.
The State Operations Director and the Counsel and Director for DEI are collaborating to support States in developing DEI goals. We are providing trainings, best practices guidance, and other tools and resources.
