Yesterday, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison joined the Reverend Al Sharpton on MSNBC to highlight President Joe Biden and Democrats’ historic record of delivering for the American people — including the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, which will tackle climate change and lower prescription drug costs for millions of Americans.
Harrison: “Never bet against Joe Biden and Democrats when it comes to delivering for the American people… When you take a look at what Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democrats have been able to do in these last two years — and you put it in the historic perspective — it’s nothing short of amazing… We just recently got passed this Inflation Reduction Act. Not one Republican voted for it either in the House and Senate. And this bill is a game changer… allowing Medicare for the first time to negotiate the price of prescription drugs. That is such an important thing for so many seniors across the country… Joe Biden has delivered for the American people, while the Republicans have been extreme.”
