IN THE STATES: Biden, Dems Strengthen Medicare While GOP Pushes Extreme Agenda

In the states this week, local news highlighted President Biden’s announcement that premiums for many Medicare recipients will decrease next year – by over $60 per beneficiary. In addition, through the work of the Inflation Reduction Act, President Biden and Democrats are continuing to strengthen and protect Medicare and lower health care and prescription drug costs for working Americans across the states.

In Pennsylvania, the Democratic National Committee, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and Pennsylvania Democrats successfully blocked a Republican lawsuit seeking to prevent counties from notifying and giving voters the opportunity to fix errors in their mail-in ballots.

And with less than 40 days until Election Day, MAGA Republicans across the country remain on defense as they double down on their extreme, anti-choice agenda.
