DNC Chair Jaime Harrison released the following statement on the passing of Rosalind Wyman:

“I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Roz Wyman, the longest-serving member of the Democratic National Committee. She was a loyal champion of Democratic values, a committed public servant, and a dear friend who dedicated her life to fighting for equality, justice, and opportunity for all. 

“As the youngest person ever elected to the Los Angeles City Council, a former chair of the Democratic National Convention, and a stalwart figure in California politics, her legacy of over a half a century of service is unparalleled. She will be greatly missed.

“I extend my deepest condolences to Roz’s loved ones today as they mourn a true trailblazer. Rest in peace, my friend.”
