True to form, Florida Senator Rick Scott and Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson took to the airwaves TODAY to double down and remind the American people once again of their support for plans that would jeopardize Social Security and Medicare.

Rick Scott stood ten toes down as he was drilled on his plan that would put Social Security and Medicare on the chopping block.

And Ron Johnson came out this morning more than once to say that he supports privatizing Social Security – even calling it a “Ponzi scheme.”

Johnson: “I know George Bush talked about investing younger employees’, you know younger workers, a portion of their Social Security payroll tax into their own account. That was like privatizing Social Security… Well, had we done it back them, Social Security might be in a more stable position for younger workers.”

Johnson: “I’ve been laying out the truth about Social Security. For example, the first campaign, they said I called it a Ponzi scheme. Well that was true because I did because it is. It’s a legal Ponzi scheme.”
