DNC Chair Jaime Harrison released the following statement after Donald Trump attacked Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and praised Hezbollah as “very smart” during his remarks in Florida last night:

“Donald Trump’s criticism of Israel and his praise for their terrorist enemies is disgusting, depraved, and dangerous. At a time when the world is looking for true leadership in the face of pure evil, Donald Trump continues to show us exactly who he is – a spineless man who has consistently pandered to our enemies, undermined our allies, and peddled dangerous misinformation on the world stage. While Donald Trump continues to demonstrate how unhinged and unfit he is to lead, President Biden has received resounding praise for his condemnation of these heinous acts of terrorism and for unequivocally standing with Israel. The contrast couldn’t be more clear.”
