The DNC congratulates Janelle Stelson for winning the Democratic primary for Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District. Across Pennsylvania, Democratic voters backed candidates like Stelson who are focused on lowering costs, protecting healthcare, and fighting for Pennsylvania’s working families. This year, Democrats are seizing the opportunity to flip Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District blue and take back the majority in the House of Representatives.

In response to Stelson’s victory, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:

While Trump-backed ‘MAGA warrior’ Scott Perry is an out-of-touch extremist who has rubber-stamped Trump’s cruel and corrupt agenda, Stelson will fight back against Perry and Trump’s harmful policies that have raised costs and ripped away healthcare from Pennsylvania’s working families. Democrats have the momentum to flip this seat blue, and the DNC will organize and mobilize voters until Election Day to elect a fighter for Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District.”
