The DNC congratulates South Carolina’s Democratic gubernatorial nominee Jermaine Johnson and the Democratic candidates who clinched victories. 

Democratic voters across South Carolina backed candidates like Johnson who are focused on lowering costs, protecting healthcare, and fighting for working families. Democrats are fired up to support Johnson, who will be a governor for every South Carolinian.

In response to Jermaine Johnson’s victory, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:
