DNC Congratulates Peggy Flanagan on Winning Minnesota’s Democratic Primary for U.S. Senate

The DNC congratulates Peggy Flanagan on winning Minnesota’s Democratic primary for U.S. Senate. Democratic voters throughout the state turned out in support of lowering costs, protecting healthcare, and fighting for working families.

In response to Peggy Flanagan’s victory, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:

“From serving on the Minneapolis School Board and in the state legislature to becoming Minnesota’s lieutenant governor, Peggy Flanagan has dedicated her career to delivering real change for Minnesotans. While Republicans make life harder for families, Peggy is the fighter Minnesotans need to level the playing field and give working Minnesotans a fair shot. In the Senate, she will continue fighting to give people a better life by lowering costs, expanding healthcare, supporting farmers, investing in public education, and tackling Republicans’ blatant corruption. Peggy Flanagan is a leader Minnesotans need in this fight, and that’s why the DNC is all-in to help her win this election and deliver a stronger, more affordable Minnesota for everyone to enjoy.”
