In response to Jocelyn Benson’s victory in Michigan’s gubernatorial election, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:

As a lawyer and accomplished secretary of state, Jocelyn has dedicated her career to standing up for the people of Michigan and delivering results for families. As governor, she will be a champion for all Michiganders while fighting to lower costs, expand access to healthcare, make housing and childcare more affordable, bring down utility and energy prices, invest in public education, and protect the state’s natural resources.”
