“Congratulations to Sam Forstag, the Montana Democratic Party, and all of the organizers who worked tirelessly to flip this seat from red to blue. As a U.S. Forest Service smokejumper and local union leader, Sam has always put his community first — from fighting wildfires to fighting for working people. In the House, he will immediately get to work to raise wages, expand access to healthcare, make housing and childcare more affordable, invest in rural communities, combat Trump’s corruption, and make life better for Western Montana’s working families.”
