DNC Chair Tom Perez released the statement below in response to the postponement of the vote on Trumpcare.
 
“The American people won the day. We took action and raised our voices, and it worked.  This is only one step in the fight to do what is best for our country. Trump’s broken promise to protect health care was a lie and would instead put it out of reach for 24 million Americans, just to give a tax break to billionaires like himself.  We must keep it up and let Congress know Trump’s disastrous reform cannot become law.”
