For Trump, Every Day is “Take Your Kids To Work Day”

For many Americans, “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” is a fun holiday. For Donald Trump, costing taxpayers millions and making our democracy look more like a monarchy is almost an everyday occurrence.

From agency personnel decisions, to meetings with foreign leaders, to Middle East peace and beyond, it feels like Trump’s children are omnipresent.

All three adult Trump children joined a meeting with tech executives and President Trump:

·         The Hill: “Three of Donald Trump’s adult children attended a Wednesday meeting the president-elect convened with top Silicon Valley executives, prompting backlash from critics with questions about conflicts of interests. […] It was held the same week the president-elect said his two adult sons, Eric and Donald Jr., would take over his business interests when he takes office in January.”

Donald Trump, Jr. helped President Trump pick out an Interior Secretary and other agency personnel – an involvement “blurring the lines” between Trump Organization and the White House.

·         Politico: “Donald Trump, Jr., the president elect's eldest son, was involved with the interview process for interior secretary, according to sources familiar with the discussions, blurring the lines between the incoming Trump administration and Trump's business empire. He sat in on interviews and made calls to candidates, according to sources familiar with the process.”

Ivanka Trump has joined President Trump to greet many foreign leaders, including Chinese President Xi Jinping for an official state dinner.  The same day, she was issued valuable trademarks by the Chinese government for her brand.

·         AP: “On April 6, Ivanka Trump’s company won provisional approval from the Chinese government for three new trademarks, giving it monopoly rights to sell Ivanka brand jewelry, bags and spa services in the world’s second-largest economy. That night, the first daughter and her husband, Jared Kushner, sat next to the president of China and his wife for a steak and Dover sole dinner at Mar-a-Lago.”

Eric Trump, who manages Trump Organization, now plans to update President Trump quarterly on its financials, after initially denying it.  Eric also admitted that nepotism is “beautiful.”

·         Fortune: “The President’s son, who now runs the Trump Organization with his brother, Donald Jr., told Forbes about his plans to communicate with President Donald Trump about the financial status of the business immediately after denying he would do so. Trump told Forbes he would update the president ‘on the bottom line, profitability reports and stuff like that,’ likely ‘quarterly.’”

·         ERIC TRUMP: “Is that nepotism? Absolutely. Is that also a beautiful thing? Absolutely

Don’t get us started on Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who works on, well, everything.
