DNC Chair Tom Perez released the following statement urging Americans across the country to let their representatives know we don’t support Trump and the GOP’s latest attempt to repeal the ACA.
“We’ve stopped them already, but Trump and Republicans are at it again. They’re trying yet again to pass Trumpcare—their disastrous repeal of the Affordable Care Act—and this bill is even harsher than before, gutting protections for people with pre-existing conditions. Unless we act now, they’re going to take health insurance and essential health benefits away from millions of Americans, just to give millionaires and billionaires another tax cut.”
