As Republicans attempt to demonize former FBI Director Comey, it’s worth remembering that Senator Rubio stood up for him in the wake of his revelations in the Clinton email investigation last fall. The Trump Administration laughably used the excuse that the reason behind Comey’s firing was his mishandling of that same investigation.

Senator Rubio: “Comey did not do anything inappropriate, and it’s amazing that all of these people were lifting him up as a hero two or three or four months ago, and now he’s a villain because they don’t like what he did.”
