As Mike Pence descends on Buffalo, NY, DNC Chair Tom Perez issued the following statement condemning the vice president’s visit to his hometown:

“When Mike Pence arrives in Buffalo today, I hope he’s ready to explain to Buffalo why he’s fighting to give millionaires and billionaires a tax break at the expense of middle class families. Buffalo is called the ‘City of Good Neighbors’ because we take care of each other and always keep the ladder down for others.  Donald Trump and Mike Pence don’t share those values, but the American people do – and so does the Democratic Party.”
