Beginning Saturday, DNC Chair Tom Perez will spend the remaining days of the Virginia election on the ground in the Commonwealth. Throughout the trip, Perez will campaign with Democrats running up and down the ticket, from candidates for the Virginia House of Delegates like Hala Ayala and Elizabeth Guzman to Ralph Northam, Justin Fairfax, and Mark Herring.

Perez will travel the state to help mobilize voters, organizers, and volunteers at canvass kick-offs, GOTV rallies, and visits to field offices. Throughout his time in Virginia, Perez will highlight the clear choice for voters in Tuesday’s election – while Ralph Northam and Democrats across the ballot will fight for an economy that works for every Virginian, no matter who they are or where they’re from, Republicans like Ed Gillespie will fight for the for the same Trump policies that help the wealthy at the expense of everyone else. The DNC is all-in in Virginia and has invested $1.5 million in the Virginia coordinated campaign to increase capacity for organizing, technology, communications, research, and more. DNC officers Michael Blake, Jaime Harrison, and Lorna Johnson and DNC staff will also blanket the state throughout the final days of the election to knock on doors, talk to voters, and get out the vote in Virginia.
