DNC Deputy Communications Director Sabrina Singh issued the following statement in response to reports that the RNC accepted $375,000 in contributions from Steve Wynn in December alone and gave Roy Moore, an alleged pedophile, hundreds of thousands of dollars:

“Instead of believing the accusers of Roy Moore, the RNC doubled down on their support of alleged child molester. Instead of believing the dozens of women who have accused former RNC Finance Chair Steve Wynn of sexual harassment, the RNC is holding onto hundreds of thousands of dollars that it accepted from the Wynn family in December. Ronna McDaniel and the RNC have made it blatantly clear that the hollow denial of one man is worth more to the GOP than a chorus of women raising their voices. This is the Republican Party – a morally bankrupt organization that turns its back on women over, and over, and over again. This is the party of Steve Wynn, Roy Moore, Pat Meehan, Blake Farenthold, Trent Franks, and Donald Trump.”
