WASHINGTON, D.C. – DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz issued the following statement in celebration of Chanukah:

“Tonight, like so many families around the world, I will gather with my family to celebrate the first night of Chanukah. As we retell the story of the great miracle that happened in Israel so many years ago, we are reminded of the power of the few against the many, and the power of faith and spirit in the face of oppression. We also celebrate the small miracles we experience every day, and pledge to always be a voice for those who cannot speak up for themselves.
