ICYMI: DNC Launched Nationwide Weekend of Action To Mobilize Voters 100 Days Before Midterm Elections

Nearly 2,000 organizers, volunteers, fellows, and staff spent the weekend having conversations with voters at more than 450 events across the country

Over the weekend, the DNC held its 100 Days Out Weekend of Action with more than 450 organizing events across the country. As Democrats prepare to enter the final sprint to Election Day, the DNC is all hands on deck to meet voters where they are and organize everywhere so Democrats can win races up and down the ballot. With nearly 2,000 organizers, volunteers, fellows, and staff participating in canvasses, phone banks, voter registration drives, volunteer trainings, and community events nationwide, Democrats are continuing to establish their on-the-ground presence and putting in the work to register new voters, knock on doors, and boost turnout in order to win.

This activation came just one week after the DNC held a voter registration weekend of action at World Cup watch parties where organizers registered thousands of new Democratic voters. Last month, the DNC also hosted a Stuff Costs Too Much Weekend of Action in which Democrats held more than 200 on-the-ground events, engaged thousands of volunteers, and trained 150 new organizers.

Spectrum News: Democrats to rally voters 100 days before the November election

[Cassie Semyon, 7/24/26]

“The Democratic Party is launching what it calls a ‘weekend of action’ to energize and mobilize its voters across the country with 100 days to go before the crucial November election, Spectrum News has learned.

“With at least 428 events in 42 states, Democrats are touting the two-day organizing event as the latest in a series of efforts to boost support and turnout through canvassing, phone banks, community gatherings and trainings in states with competitive House and Senate races. …

“‘With only 100 days left until the most important midterm elections of our lives, Democrats throughout the country are all gas, no brakes,’ DNC Chair Ken Martin said in a statement.

“‘We are pounding the pavement and continuing to do the work that wins elections — from registering voters and signing up new volunteers to knocking on doors, making phone calls, and hosting hundreds of events,’ he added. ‘We are organizing everywhere, fighting for every vote, and making the investments necessary to win up and down the ballot.’”
