Ahead of Pence Visit, DNC Launches Digital Ads In Wisconsin Highlighting Trump’s Coronavirus Failures

Ahead of Vice President Pence’s visit to Darien, Wisconsin, the Democratic National Committee is launching a digital ad campaign to reach voters in the geographical area around his event and highlights how Trump’s coronavirus response has failed Wisconsinites. Last week, Wisconsin crossed 1,000 deaths from COVID-19.

“Trump’s failed coronavirus response has left Wisconsin with an economy in turmoil and cost too many lives and too many jobs.” said DNC Spokesperson Maddie McComb. “Nothing about Pence’s visit on Wednesday changes the reality that it didn’t need to be this bad. If Mike Pence wants to hear directly from Wisconsinites devastated by the administration’s failures, he should watch our convention where the stories of Americans hurt by the Trump administration’s failure will continue to be front and center.”

Earlier this week, Democrats released a new television ad in the Green Bay market focused on Trump’s coronavirus failure and the unnecessary risk he poses by hosting in-person campaign rallies during the pandemic.

These digital display banner ads will run on Wednesday, August 19 during Vice President Pence’s visit and reach targeted voters in the Darien, Wisconsin area. Images of the ads are below:
