A new poll released today shows that 61 percent of Americans think that the country is going in the wrong direction and a plurality – including 49 percent of independents – think the economy has been weakened under President Trump.
PBS: “A growing number of independent voters disapprove of President Donald Trump’s handling of the economy, as the president’s job approval rating remains stuck at historic lows. This is according to a new PBS Newshour/NPR/Marist poll, released Wednesday.”
On top of his healthcare repeal, that would threaten to kill jobs nationwide, Trump’s agenda has created uncertainty thatcould lead to a U.S. economic slowdown.
