TrumpTax.com is a new interactive website that shows the costs of Trump’s Billionaire Budget Betrayal and erratic trade policies to everyday Americans 

Today, following the passage of Trump’s Billionaire Budget Betrayal and ahead of the six-month anniversary of Trump’s second term, the Democratic National Committee unveiled TrumpTax.com — a new interactive website that shows the dire combined effects — the Trump Tax — of his unpopular budget bill and Trump’s erratic tariff policies on everyday Americans.

The new website includes national and state-by-state data about the Trump Tax with one underlying truth — if you’re not a billionaire, the Trump Tax will screw you over. 

The Trump Tax will cost the lowest-income households $1,600 a year while raising the income of the richest 10% of Americans by $12,000 a year. 17 million Americans will lose their health care coverage. More than 22 million working families could lose some or all of their food benefits. 

This law will affect all of us. Hospital closures and Medicaid cuts will lead to higher health care costs and hospital bills for everyone. The Trump Tax will explode the deficit by $3.3 trillion — leading to higher inflation, higher energy bills, and higher grocery and prescription drug costs for everybody.

“All of us remember Donald Trump promising to lower costs on Day One. Instead, only six months into his disastrous second term, he’s delivered a devastating one-two punch to our families: raising prices and sparking inflation with his brainless tariffs while robbing people of basic lifelines that get them through tough times — all just to funnel tax handouts to billionaires. For all his ineptitude, corruption, and cover-ups, it’s time we also call out Trump’s unending love for taxing the American worker. The Trump Tax is the largest redistribution of wealth and the largest cut to health care in American history. While Trump steers the US economy toward a financial crisis, the Trump Tax is shuttering hospitals and nursing homes, skyrocketing energy bills, and exploding the deficit. That’s why the DNC launched TrumpTax.com — to show Americans the dire effects of Trump’s policies nationally and in all 50 states. Trump isn’t just a lying fraud, he’s the ultimate ‘tax man’ who doesn’t give a damn about our children, grandparents, or communities.”

💸 Working Americans will lose $1,600 a year while high-earners will see their incomes boosted by $12,000. 

⚡ Americans nationwide will see their energy bill increase by hundreds of dollars, and in some states, costs will increase by as much as 30%.

👨‍🏭 Nearly 2 million construction and 2 million clean energy manufacturing jobs are at risk. Trump and Republicans’ cuts to Medicaid and SNAP endanger another 1.2 million jobs.

🏥 17 million Americans could lose health insurance, a whopping 27% of nursing homes could be forced to close their doors, and more than 300 rural hospitals could close.
