BIDEN LEADERSHIP: COVID Cases And Deaths Down, Economy Continues to Recover

President Biden and Democrats continue to lead the country out of a pandemic and help the economy recover. COVID cases and deaths are down, vaccination rates are up, and jobless claims have fallen to their lowest levels since March 2020. While Republicans continue to play politics with people’s lives, President Biden and Democrats remain laser focused on leading us out of the pandemic and getting our economy back on track.

Vaccine rates have RISEN more than 20% since vaccine requirements went into place, and one-third of eligible seniors have already received their booster shot:

Forbes: “Vaccination Rates Surge Amid Covid Vaccine Mandates, White House Says”

Reuters: “White House COVID-19 response coordinator Jeff Zients told reporters that 77% of eligible Americans had received at least one shot of a vaccine. Vaccination rates went up thanks to mandates put into place by private businesses, healthcare systems, social institutions and state and local governments, he said in a briefing.”

Washington Post: “Since federal health agencies endorsed a third dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for certain Americans, more than 7 million people have received boosters. ‘Our program is off to a very strong start and continues to accelerate,’ he said in a news conference Wednesday, adding that one third of all eligible seniors had received their booster doses.”

COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths are DOWN, and top health experts predict the number of deaths will keep falling:

Reuters: “U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said the seven-day average of daily COVID-19 cases fell 12% from the previous week and the seven-day average of daily deaths was down 5%.”

CNN: “Covid-19 deaths and hospitalizations are expected to decline over the next four weeks, according to ensemble forecasts from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published Wednesday.”

The Hill: “Top infectious diseases expert Anthony Fauci said that he ‘strongly suspects’ COVID-19 deaths will go down in the winter.”

And this week, new jobless claims hit their LOWEST levels since the beginning of the pandemic as our economy continues to recover:

CNBC: “Jobless claims fall below 300,000 for the first time since the pandemic began”

MSNBC: “For 55 consecutive weeks, the number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits was worse than at any time during the Great Recession. All of that appears to be behind us. Looking at today’s report, we haven’t seen data this good since before the pandemic began in earnest.”
