Yesterday, Senator Chuck Grassley made a damning admission about the Republican agenda and confirmed a Republican majority would do nothing to lower drug prices: 

“I think you suggested the difficulty of passing something like in a Republican Congress, so you got an opportunity to do it right now, when Democrats and Republicans can work together to accomplish this. If we want to reduce drug prices, then we need to do it now.” – Chuck Grassley

After Mitch McConnell tried to hide the Republican agenda, he can’t be happy to see his colleagues blowing the door wide open on the party’s priorities if they take control of Congress. 

In case you weren’t tracking, Republicans have spent the last few weeks confirming how dangerous a Republican majority would be: 

• The Republican Party is against lowering prescription drug prices.
   
• The Republican Party is committed to repealing the Affordable Care Act – raising premiums and taking away protections for people with preexisting conditions.
   
• The Republican Party will raise taxes on half of Americans, primarily the bottom 40% of income earners.
