DNC’s 2025 fundraising surpasses $50 million with best-ever June for grassroots donations in an off-year, as grassroots volunteers exceed 30,000 this year alone.

Today, the DNC announced that powerful Democratic grassroots energy continues with record-setting June fundraising numbers, including the best-ever June for grassroots donations in an off-year in the committee’s history, with the month of June alone totaling nearly $8.6 million raised. The grassroots energy is also powering a growing volunteer base exceeding 30,000 sign-ups and engagements in the past six months — the largest volunteer base the DNC has ever had at this point in the cycle. 

In total, the DNC has raised more than $50 million since the start of the year, largely thanks to Chair Ken Martin raising more than any other new DNC chair in committee history in their first months on the job.

The 30,000 volunteers engaging in Democrats’ “Organizing Summer” campaign represent every state and congressional district. We are organizing at functions across the country, both online and offline, to bolster Democratic outreach and rally against the budget bill, such as at summer concerts, sporting events, and state and county fairs.

DNC Chair Ken Martin issued the following statement: 

“Around the country, people are energized, ready to fight back, and empowering Democrats to win elections. The DNC is breaking grassroots fundraising records, bringing on more volunteers than ever, and raising record-setting funds to beat Republicans. Democrats are back in the ring thanks to grassroots energy across all 50 states, and together, we’re going to defeat the toxic Republican agenda and put this country back on track for hard-working families.”

Additionally, in the first five months under Chair Martin, the DNC has:

• Hosted 138 town halls in all 50 states to meet with Americans across the country, where Republicans refused.
  
• Had record fundraising powered by grassroots donors who are chipping in to defeat Trump’s reckless agenda and power Democratic victories up and down the ballot. Already, Democrats have won or overperformed in 34 key elections in 2025.
  
• Contributions during the first five months of Chair Martin’s leadership are nearly 2:1 dollars raised in the months after the 2016 cycle.
  
• Our volunteers are stepping up as community connectors — organizing neighbors to expose the harms of the Republican budget bill, hosting events, showing up at local gatherings, and sparking conversations online in group chats, Reddit threads, and sports and gaming forums.
