DNC Announces New Investments in New York
October 30, 2017
Today, the Democratic National Committee announced an investment in New York. This investment will assist Syracuse mayoral candidate Juanita Perez Williams and Democrats running up and down the ticket in the state. The DNC will be working in partnership with the New York Democratic Party to help mobilize organizers and engage voters across the state.
“The DNC is committed to electing Democratic candidates in every zip code and in every office, from the school board to the Oval Office. We are making significant investments in state parties that will help lift Democrats like Juanita Perez Williams, who would be the first-ever Latina mayor in New York state history and an incredible leader for Syracuse, to victory. Juanita has a plan to hit the ground running and take immediate action to make Syracuse and its economy work for every one of its residents, and we’re committed to doing everything we can to help her put her plan into action,” said DNC Chair Tom Perez. “The new DNC is about winning elections and organizing around electoral opportunities up and down the ballot, and this latest investment in the New York Democratic Party is just another example of how we’re working hand in hand with state parties to make it happen.”
