DNC Announces Six-Figure Rural Turnout Campaign Across North Carolina and Georgia

Today, the DNC announced a six-figure paid media campaign in Georgia and North Carolina to specifically target rural voters in the final days of the election. The DNC’s latest ‘I Will Vote’ campaign will stretch across 15 counties in the rural southern battlegrounds, including the “Black Belt” in North Carolina and Georgia, and meet voters on the roads and on the airwaves through a multi-media billboard and rural radio ad campaign.

Diverse rural voters in Georgia and North Carolina will be greeted by a message from DNC Chair Jaime Harrison, a son of rural America himself, emphasizing that Democrats have a plan to invest in rural communities – fighting for lower costs, affordable health care, and rural infrastructure, including health systems and hospitals. Vice President Harris has announced a robust rural agenda to strengthen and expand opportunities for rural America. In what has always been a close election, Democrats are making a final push to mobilize these diverse communities by reinforcing Democrats’ commitment to them, as well as uplift the voting information Georgians and North Carolinians need to make their voices heard on November 5th.

“In the final days of this election, Democrats are not taking our foot off the gas as we communicate our plan for rural America. From affordable and accessible health care to lower costs and economic opportunities, the Democratic Party will fight for policies that make a tangible difference for rural Americans,” said DNC Chair Jaime Harrison. “Growing up in a rural town, I know how important it is to show up and truly meet rural voters where they are. The DNC’s latest rural ‘I Will Vote’ initiative does exactly that, ensuring that the final message rural voters in the critical battlegrounds of Georgia and North Carolina receive in this election is Democrats’ commitment to fight for them.”

The DNC’s ‘I Will Vote’ campaign directs voters to the DNC’s most complete, accurate, and up-to-date national coverage of polling places and voter education information all in one place. This latest ‘I Will Vote’ campaign follows recently announced ‘I Will Vote’ ad buys from the DNC directed at Native American, LGBTQ+, AANHPI, Haitian, and Latino voters, as well as the launch of a Taylor-Swift themed campaign targeting youth and women voters, a lifestyle publications digital campaign, convenience store ads, and college campus and union member voter mobilization initiatives to meet voters where they are.
