The ads will run on 15 different college campuses across six battleground states to reach Black and young voters
Today, the Democratic National Committee is announcing a new digital advertising campaign to reach Black and young voters on 15 college campuses across six battleground states. The ads will highlight how the Biden-Harris administration is delivering on its promise to advance equity and opportunity for Black communities.
The ads will run in key battleground states, targeting the following HBCU campuses: Florida A&M University, Albany State University, Morehouse College, Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University, and North Carolina Central University. Other schools included in the ad campaign are Miami Dade College, Georgia State University, Wayne County Community College District, University of North Carolina – Greensboro, Temple University, Community College of Beaver County, Delaware County Community College, University of Pennsylvania, and Marquette University.
“As we continue to celebrate Black History Month, the DNC is meeting Black and young voters where they are on campuses across the country and clearly laying out the stakes of the 2024 election,” said DNC Chair Jaime Harrison. “Over the last three years, the Biden-Harris administration has made historic progress in advancing racial equity and uplifting Black communities, and they’re promising to go even further in a second term. Young, Black voters know there’s only one choice on the ballot this November with a proven record of delivering for them – that’s President Biden and Vice President Harris.”
The ad campaign will run for two weeks beginning on Thursday, and will direct people via QR code to IWillVote.com, the DNC’s voter participation hub where voters can register to vote, check their voter registration, and make a plan to vote, whether in person or by mail.
