DNC Chair ‘Breathing Hot Fire’ As He Calls Out McConnell’s Opposition to Voting Rights Reform

This morning, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison joined MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle Reports where he called out Mitch McConnell’s opposition to voting rights reform as “the most knuckled-headed thing that I’ve ever seen.”

As Stephanie Ruhle said, “You are breathing hot fire today, Mr. Harrison.”

WATCH HERE:

DNC Chair Jaime Harrison: “Then you hear Mitch McConnell come out and say, ‘Well I don’t see anything wrong with voting rights in this country.’ I mean, it’s the most knuckle-headed thing that I’ve ever seen. They are criminalizing giving people a bottle of water in Georgia — giving people a bottle of water. They’re allowing goons, political goons to go into polling precincts, mind you precincts of people of color, to intimidate them at the polls. But he doesn’t see anything wrong with voting rights in this country? These people need to wake up. And folks need to understand that Mitch McConnell doesn’t want anything that will keep Mitch McConnell from becoming the majority leader in the Senate, everything else be damned.”

Stephanie Ruhle: “You are breathing hot fire today, Mr. Harrison.”
