DNC CHAIR: It’s Time to Stand Up to Protect American Democracy

Today on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison highlighted the importance of standing up and protecting our democracy, and called out Republicans for their shameful attempts to erode one of Americans’ most sacred rights.
Chair Harrison: “You see what’s going on in each of these individual states, and you said it just now, that not only are they making it harder for people to register and harder for them to stand in line, they’re also trying to take away the power to even count people’s legitimate votes. That’s not America … For us not to all stand up and say, ‘No, this will not happen,’ it’s shameful … History is going to record you. Where do you stand at this moment?”
