In commemoration of Veterans Day, DNC Chair Tom Perez released the following statement:

“Today, Americans pay tribute to the remarkable courage, service, and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans and their families. These patriots put their lives on the line to defend our freedoms. At home and abroad, they stand for American values of liberty, justice, and equality for all people. And even after they’ve hung up their fatigues for good, they continue to exemplify leadership in their communities every day. While we can never fully repay our debt to these heroes, we have a duty to try. Democrats are fighting every day to make sure veterans can access the care they need and the opportunities they deserve. Our nation’s warriors deserve nothing less.”
