The DNC congratulates Paige Cognetti for winning the Democratic primary for Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District. Across Pennsylvania, Democratic voters backed candidates like Cognetti who are focused on lowering costs, protecting healthcare, and fighting for Pennsylvania’s working families. This year, Democrats are seizing the opportunity to flip Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District blue and take back the majority in the House of Representatives.

In response to Cognetti’s victory, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:
