“The U.S. lost 140,000 jobs last month, capping off the worst jobs year on record. In total, the number of jobs lost during this pandemic is more than what we lost during the Great Recession. Cases are surging, hospitals are overwhelmed, and small businesses are struggling to survive. And yet, this president spent the week inciting violent riots at the U.S. Capitol building. It’s time for our nation to come together around President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris so we can heal our wounds, rebuild our economy, end this pandemic, and help get people back on their feet. In just 12 days, Americans will finally get the leadership they deserve.”
