Today, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem will be in Anaheim, California. DNC spokesperson Ammar Moussa released the following statement: 

“Between her extreme anti-choice agenda and ethics entanglements, we can’t say we’re surprised to see Kristi Noem trying to jet set across the country. Instead of advocating for the people of South Dakota, Kristi Noem will be at a fundraiser 1,500 miles away. Kristi Noem is making it absolutely clear that her only priorities are lining the pockets of her friends and family while she chases her own political ambitions.” 

As the Supreme Court prepares to overturn Roe v. Wade, Kristi Noem has continued her years-long, vicious attacks on abortion access and reproductive rights. 

Kristi Noem: “I think that in my perfect world, South Dakota would no longer have any abortions.” 

Kristi Noem: “As soon as Roe v. Wade is overturned, our state laws are ready to protect every unborn South Dakota child.”
