DNC on Kushner’s Failure to Disclose Russia, WikiLeaks Contacts
November 18, 2017
In response to reports that Jared Kushner failed to disclose outreach from a Putin ally during the campaign, and that he potentially lied to Congress by denying any knowledge of attempts by WikiLeaks to contact the Trump campaign, DNC deputy communications director Adrienne Watson released the following statement:
“There is no longer room for innocent explanations of Jared Kushner's repeated failure to disclose information related to the Russia investigation. It is unacceptable that he continues to work in the White House and even worse that he continues to do so with access to classified information. Kushner's clearance should be revoked and he should lose his job. If this were anyone besides the President's son-in-law, it would have happened already.”
