In response to nearly 1.5 million workers filing initial claims for unemployment last week, DNC War Room Director Adrienne Watson released the following statement:

“This crisis is far from over, but Trump has given up. He is more concerned about his political future than about American lives and livelihoods. We are three months into this crisis and 20 million Americans are still unemployed and new coronavirus cases just hit a record single-day high. Americans can’t afford another four years of Trump’s failures.”
