In response to news that Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ testimony tomorrow before the Senate Intel Committee will be open to the public, DNC deputy communications director Adrienne Watson released the following statement:

“Sessions has a lot of explaining to do.  There is mounting evidence that he committed perjury multiple times in failing to disclose meetings with the Russian ambassador, there are disturbing revelations about his failure to protect the FBI from Trump's influence, and serious questions about whether he violated his recusal by conspiring with Trump to get rid of James Comey. Sessions owes the American people answers.”
