In advance of Steve Bannon’s keynote address to the California GOP Convention, DNC spokesperson Vedant Patel released the following statement:

“The California Republican Party should be ashamed of its embrace of far-right hatemonger Steve Bannon. Millions of Californians have already rejected Bannon and the divisive policies he and Donald Trump have championed, including attempts to strip health care from millions of Americans. Democrats in California stand in solidarity against Steve Bannon and the policies he has helped lead Republicans to embracing, like the Muslim ban, the deportation of DREAMers, and the Trump administration’s hostility toward the LGBTQ community.”
