In response to the Trump administration continuing to disrespect the rule of law today by blocking four witnesses from testifying in the House impeachment inquiry, DNC Deputy War Room Director Daniel Wessel released the following statement:

“The Trump administration’s repeated decision to block witness testimony is only about one thing: keeping the truth from the American people. 

“For weeks, the Trump administration obstructed the House impeachment inquiry, claiming that it ‘lacked the necessary authorization’ for Republicans to participate. That argument never had merit, but after last week’s House vote, they are truly out of excuses. Republicans are spitting in the face of rule of law and American voters who deserve to know the truth.”
