In response to reports that the Trump administration wants the ACLU to complete the work of  reuniting families separated at the border, DNC Hispanic Media Director Enrique Gutierrez released the following statement:  

“Passing the buck may be typical for the Trump administration, but it’s not the way government works. Donald Trump created this humanitarian crisis, tearing families apart and inflicting severe psychological damage on children, and now he wants to leave the clean-up to the immigration activists who fought back against his cruel policies. That is wrong. Democrats expect the Trump administration to step up, fulfill its legal responsibility, and reunite all the families it separated.”
