In response to Trump’s press briefing tonight, DNC War Room senior spokesperson and adviser Lily Adams released the following statement:

“For more than four years, Trump has not only fanned the flames of hate and refused to denounce violence, but today he outright defended one of his own supporters charged with two counts of first degree murder. This is a dangerous new low from the man who falsely claims to be the ‘law and order’ president. Americans need a leader who will heal the nation, not incite more violence for his political gain.”
