During the announcement of his potential Supreme Court nominees, Trump reiterated his admission that he worked to conceal the true threat of coronavirus from the American people. In response, DNC War Room senior spokesperson and advisor Lily Adams released the following statement:

“Donald Trump admitted that when the American people needed the facts during this pandemic, he lied to them — lies that have cost an untold number of lives and caused devastating economic harm.

“With Trump it’s always ‘me first’ and the American people last, no matter the consequences. In November, the American people will hold him accountable.”
