DNC Press Secretary Brandon Gassaway released the following statement after Trump’s visit to Atlanta and his attempt to court Black voters:

“Don’t believe the hype. Black America knows who Donald Trump is, and it isn’t pretty. He has failed us on taxes and health care, he has failed us on criminal justice, and he has failed to make any lasting investment in our community.

“Donald Trump has shown our community his true self through his words and his inaction. All the rest is just hype.”
