In response to the U.S. surpassing three million confirmed coronavirus cases, DNC War Room Director Adrienne Watson released the following statement:

“Trump failed America on coronavirus from day one. He downplayed the virus and failed to prepare, letting China off the hook to help himself politically. And Trump’s still failing us. Trump and the White House said months ago that ‘the worst’ of the pandemic was already over, and yet the United States just surpassed three million cases.

“Trump said we would win so much, we’d get tired of winning. Well, now we’re number one — first in the world in coronavirus deaths and confirmed cases. If this is what winning looks like to Trump, then the American people have had enough.”
