DNC Raises Nearly $30 Million in August

The Democratic National Committee today announced that it raised $28.9 million in August and ended the period with $11.5 million cash-on-hand.

“We are  proud of the support from both sustaining and first time contributors to the DNC. Democrats across the country are contributing their time, energy and money to ensure that we have the tools and resources we need to elect Elect Hillary Clinton, Tim Kaine and Democrats at every level of the ticket across all 50 states.

“While there is still much more work ahead, these funds are critical to our voter registration, volunteer recruitment, and get out the vote activities that will support Democrats running for races from the White House to the statehouse.” – DNC Interim Chair Donna Brazile

The DNC also reported earlier this month the transfer of $2.5 million each to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee to support voter engagement and mobilization efforts, underscoring the commitment to electing Democratic candidates up and down the ballot across the country.
