DNC Releases New T-Shirt and Tote Artist Collaboration to Celebrate Black History Month

The Democratic National Committee is releasing a new t-shirt and tote bag to mark Black History Month in collaboration with Tennessee-based artist Cymone Wilder. The t-shirt and tote feature a quote by DNC Chair Jaime Harrison and promote the DNC’s voter registration initiative IWillVote.com. They are currently available online at the DNC store

“Black History Month is an important time to reflect on the invaluable contributions Black Americans have made to our nation’s history against all odds, and to chart a path to success for future generations,” said DNC Black Coalition Director and Deputy Director of Coalitions and Community Engagement Ebony Baylor. “Black Americans are the backbone of the Democratic Party, and in 2022—as Republicans continue their efforts to suppress our voices from being heard at the ballot box–we are going to show them that our communities count, we show up, and we will be heard. Thank you to Cymone Wilder for helping us create this new merchandise which boldly showcases our value, our dignity, and our collective power.”

Throughout Black History Month, the DNC is working to engage and continue to build relationships with Black communities and organizations. Later this month, the DNC’s Black Caucus will host an event in celebration of Black History Month.
