DNC Releases Video Highlighting Victories In Washington State

Today, the Democratic National Committee released a new video entitled “Women Get It Done In Washington,” highlighting the amazing work being done in Washington under the leadership of Washington Democratic Party Chair Tina Podlodowski.

The video features state Senator Manka Dhingra, whose victory flipped control of the Washington state Senate to the Democrats. Her candidacy in 2017 was a top priority for Democrats, and the DNC was proud to invest in the Washington Democratic Party to help Manka Dhingra and Democrats win in 2017. The Washington Democratic Party was a recipient of one of the DNC’s groundbreaking State Party Innovation Fund (SPIF) grants, which was used to organize and engage with voters all over the state.

It's been just a little over a year since the 2016 election, and we’ve made great strides in Washington,” said Washington Democratic Party Chair Tina Podlodowski. “The election of Manka Dhingra has given Democrats the ability to bring about real change in Washington. From the protection of voting rights and net neutrality to ensuring equal pay — Washington Democrats are making it happen.”

“We are thrilled by what we are seeing in Washington,” said DNC Chair Tom Perez, “When we lead with our values and focus on voter engagement 365 days a year, all over the country, up and down the ballot, we can win everywhere. We are so proud of the great work Manka Dhingra, Chair Tina Podlodowski, and Washington Democrats are doing all over the state.”
