In response to today’s Consumer Price Index report, DNC spokesperson Ammar Moussa released the following statement:  

“After they’ve expressed such sincere concern about inflation, we know Republican staffers must be furiously typing away with celebratory statements about falling inflation, huge price drops in eggs, and strong job growth. But don’t worry – just in case Republicans are busy with other things – the American people know that President Biden’s economic plan of making critical investments in our nation, bringing manufacturing jobs home, and rebuilding our economy from the bottom up and middle out will just keep delivering historic wins where Republicans have failed.”
