In a desperate attempt to rewrite history, Mike Pence took shots at his former boss for being a Putin apologist. DNC spokesperson Ammar Moussa released the following statement:
“Mike Pence was Donald Trump’s number two man and waiting months to speak out because the political winds have shifted doesn’t change a thing. Let’s be very clear – Mike Pence stood shoulder to shoulder with Trump as he sold out Ukraine, sided with Putin over our own intelligence agencies, and withheld military aid from Ukraine for his own political gain. Mike Pence doesn’t get to whitewash his role enabling Trump cozying up to Vladimir Putin at the expense of our allies just because he wants to run for president. Mike Pence should just own up to his role — be proud Mike!” |
